Transactional Experience
Amorys represented a local authority subsidiary company in a large-scale commercial development in a Strategic Development Zone in Dublin which included the preparation of a Data Room, advice in relation to a due diligence process and the negotiation on behalf of the client in relation to key contract milestones. The complexity of the deliverables required significant commercial expertise and an in-depth understanding of the commercial market to allow for the successful conclusion of the arrangement. All deliverables were ultimately concluded in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Transactional Experience:
- Amorys Solicitors LLP advised the owner of a renewable energy start-up company in relation to capital investment, shareholder agreements, licensing and patents.
- Amorys represented NYSE quoted company in the successful acquisition by it of a number of EU based group companies located in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands which involved complex funding, security and other significant cross-border issues.
- Amorys acted for a distressed client company in a successful application to appoint a provisional liquidator. Following the order, Amorys assisted its client in the orchestration of a seamless transfer of the business assets to an unconnected third party.
- Amorys regularly advise in relation to business sales, mergers and acquisitions both high value and small.

Our Managing Partner Sharon Scally is a co-founder and current Chairperson of the Sandyford Business District (SBD) a Business Improvement District that represents the interests of more than 1,000 companies and 26,000 workers in the Sandyford, Dublin area. Established in January 2017, SBD actively works towards attracting investment, improving infrastructure and promoting Sandyford as a vibrant and dynamic place to do business and reside. Since SBD’s incorporation in 2017, large multi-national businesses such as Google, Tesla and Microsoft have either established branch offices here or increased their presence in the district.
Another of our Partners, Brian Kirwan was recently elected as the President of the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Chamber of Commerce, a branch of Chambers Ireland, in which he will serve a two-year term. DLR Chamber was established more than 70 years ago and is responsible for promoting more than 800 businesses over 50 industry sectors in the Dun-Laoghaire Rathdown area.
