Brian’s broad expertise includes Commercial Conveyancing, Banking Law and Residential Conveyancing. Brian has developed an expertise in reviewing and analysing security documents and rectifying defective securities on behalf of banks and financial institutions.
Brian has also accumulated significant experience in large scale transactions, including in the purchase of multi-unit developments as well as strategic acquisitions on behalf of developer clients. Brian has also accumulated a wealth of experience acting on behalf of Local Authority clients.
Brian is qualified to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales.

Brian has worked on many high-level banking and security transactions involving substantial loans as a result of which he has gained invaluable experience and insight in this area of law. He has significant experience reviewing of title documentation, carrying out due diligence reviews of security, drafting security documentation, registration of charges and reporting on bank security. He advises corporate clients on facility letters, charges, mortgages, debentures and guarantees. Brian has experience as a Bank Panel Solicitor for main stream banks, taking and implementing security in Bank of Ireland Business Banking matters and ensuring the successful registration of Bank security in the Registry of Deeds/Land Registry/CRO as appropriate.
Brian has had significant experience in major commercial property transactions, acquisitions and disposals. He recently acted in the re-finance of a significant hotel development. Brian has acted in the acquisition of and refinance of a major student residences development. He has experience advising clients on all aspects of commercial property law including sales, purchases and repossessions. He has vast experience in title investigation and rectification experience.
Brian has experience advising corporate clients in respect of requirements arising on banking facilities including advice on company law compliance. He advises clients on preparation of Companies Act documentation in respect of banking transactions, filing of company documentation on CORE and advising clients as to their legal obligations as directors and assisting with compliance with company law requirements.
Brian has also accumulated vast experience in dealing with Credit Unions in dealing with residential lending transactions. He has also acted on behalf of Credit Unions in relation to dealing with Charitable Organisations. Brian’s property and banking expertise has led to his gaining numerous clients in the Credit Union Sector. Brian has also acted in large scale acquisitions encompassing the purchase of numerous units within particular developments.
