Sharon qualified as a solicitor in 1976. She spent seven years as a partner in a leading Dublin commercial law firm before setting up in general practice under the name of Amorys in 1986. Over the years Sharon has developed a wide range of experience in not just commercial law and practice but also in the areas of conveyancing and property law with a considerable interest in commercial property development, commercial litigation and family law.
She has a post-graduate diploma in European Law from University College Dublin and in 1997 she obtained a Masters Degree in Commercial and Information Technology Law also from University College Dublin.

She is a member of the Family Lawyers Association and the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association. She is the co-author of ‘Divorce – A Practical Guide to Divorce in Ireland’. Sharon is a co-a founder member of LAW (Lawyers Associated Worldwide). This is now a global association of almost 100 independent law firms located in more than 50 countries. With access to over 400 lawyers worldwide this network has facilitated the legal requirements of clients that are expanding their operations into new markets.
Sharon is also a founder member and current chairperson and director of Sandyford BID CLG, a company established under the local Government (Business Investment District) Act, 2006. This is a NFP entity with a vision for the Sandyford Business District.
